Jack Eating Solids

INTERRUPTING CLASS

We currently take Jack to Sunday school class withus but this must rapidly come to a close as we’re discovering just how distracting Jack can be. During our teacher's lesson he’s earnestlydiscussing evangelism, eternity and the urgency of reaching lost souls, and Jack passes gas.

The really loud, lingering kind.

Of course the snickering begins and spreads around the room. I know, you’d think we’re all adults here but apparently flatulence is always entertaining no matter what the setting.

Defeated, teacher pauses and says, “OK, I’ve totally lost you people. I tried to keep going but I see it’s futile.”

Someone hollers from the back of the room, “Just say excuse me, Steve, and move on!”

Travis adds, “We usually just blame it on the baby.”
